When should I book my wedding makeup? - I would advise to book it possibly a year before or at least 7 months before, this allows you enough time and space to prepare for other things as well as communicate more effectively with the wedding makeup artists or hairstylist. My booking system gets full quickly, so this will enable you to secure your space better.

Why do I need a bridal consultation ? - As a bride-to-be, I know you want your wedding day to be as perfect as possible, I am aware this also involves having your makeup as perfect as possible, the pre-wedding consultation allows you space to alter if needs be, as well as to visually see whether your dream look is really what you may want to go for or not, or whether you may want to choose something else.

What brand of makeup do you use?  -  Products vary based on skin type, I use all sorts of high-value brands, e.g Mac, Loreal Paris, Maybelline

Do I get my deposit back when I cancel? - No deposits are non-refundable but can be used as credit only if you're postponing your wedding booking due to any serious cause that had taken place with proof.  If I end up cancelling then your deposit will be issued back to you.

Do you charge for lateness? - Yes I charge £10 per 10 minutes of lateness, should the minute exceed 60 minutes for a wedding booking I would have to cancel the booking, if the minutes exceed 30 minutes for a formal makeup booking, I would have to cancel the booking and the deposit will be non-refunded.

When do you collect the final cost of payment for bridal booking? - A day before or in the morning with the bride before providing service.

Do I need to sign a contract? - Yes all bridal parties and makeup clients would need to sign a contract of agreement before proceeding with deposit and plans, contract will be given once the quotation is filled in.

CONSULTATION

What do I do to prepare for a consultation? - Always prepare to come with the desired look, such as a picture inspiration, ensure that you have sent me the look 1 week prior to booking. The consultation is normally 1hr 30 minutes, for one look, should you want to try out different looks, charges may apply, as seen on the booking information.  Also, make sure you embark on a good skin care regime prior which will also be the same process before your wedding day. Please come with your eyebrows done and cleaned up, I only work on clean brows.

What is the best time to book a consultation? - Preferred time would be in the morning.

consultations will always be 1 - 2 months before the wedding in order to have a fresh idea of the look prior to the wedding day.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE WEDDING DAY

Get enough rest 

​

Ensure that you do not get a new tan, anything less than 2 weeks before the wedding especially an orange tan, if you are a woman of colour please apply sunscreen as well when out in the sun to prevent sunburn and anti-pigmentation, during your consultation you will be advised on the best things to do before your wedding day, also ensure to follow through with it.

Your makeup application process is one of the most peaceful processes you could have on the day of your wedding, so relax, kick up your leg, and let the artist work her glam. Try to avoid excess stress, and ensure you prepare and plan ahead of time, in order to ensure a successful morning and day.
